While some transfers turn into long-drawn sagas, others happen swiftly and unexpectedly. The latter is the case for Willian Pacho. Within hours, the process moved from initial contact to a verbal agreement, and by the end of the day, it culminated in a total agreement.
During this summer transfer window, PSG initially targeted Leny Yoro to strengthen their defense. However, with Yoro joining Manchester United, the next priority on their list was Willian Pacho. According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Pacho became the primary focus for Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG seals swift deal for Willian Pacho
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that PSG is on the verge of concluding the deal for Pacho. The Ecuadorian defender is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Parisian club, with PSG set to pay Eintracht Frankfurt €40 million plus bonuses. Romano also mentioned that Pacho's medical examination is scheduled for this week. His famous "here we go" phrase indicates a total agreement and a finalized transfer, pending official confirmation from both clubs.

The information was corroborated by Le Parisien, stating that PSG and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached a complete agreement for Willian Pacho’s transfer. After securing an agreement with the player, PSG's board swiftly moved to negotiate with the German club.
Le Parisien noted that Luis Campos, who has a good relationship with Frankfurt following previous negotiations for Randal Kolo Muani, Hugo Ekitike, and Junior Dina Ebimbe since joining in the summer of 2022, led the discussions. The Ecuadorian international is set to become a PSG player by the end of the week after completing his medical.

The acquisition of Pacho is a significant step in reinforcing PSG's defense for the upcoming season. The 22-year-old brings a combination of youth and experience, having played in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt. His arrival is eagerly anticipated by the club and its supporters, who are looking forward to seeing how he will fit into PSG's defensive setup.
